Facing Addictions and Changing Expectations (F.A.C.E.S.)
Many people have been in a storm, weathered the storm and found their way out of the storm; however, some have a problem in staying away from the next storm even though they see, hear and know that it’s coming. The F.A.C.E.S. ministry is a very important part of the church in that its primary focus is to be a pillar of strength for persons that have been faced with the adversity of dealing with substance and emotional abuse.

Soul Winners Action Team (S.W.A.T.)
The Soul Winners Action Team (S.W.A.T.) is an outreach ministry designed for the sole purpose of evangelism and winning lost souls to Christ. For various reasons, people are afraid to come to church; however, Hebrews 10:25 instructs us: "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Fear has to be overcome and overshadowed with confidence and assurance that God cares and if you will allow Him into your life, He will make a way for you. Members of the church have to be properly taught how to go out into the world and win the souls of those without a savior and bring them to Christ. The S.W.A.T. team has the ability to do just that.

Usher Ministry
The USHER MINISTRY of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church is here to serve the Lord Christ. Ushers are servants of Christ doing the Will of God from the heart. (Ephesians 6:6)
Ushers are the fourth ministry of the church. 1 Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order”. Ushers are forerunners for Christ and all other ministries experienced in the sanctuary and under-girths the total program/mission of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
It is the desires of the ushers to provide to the worshippers spiritual, emotional and social support during their worship experience.
Through the Usher Ministry, our goals and objectives are to develop a greater evangelistic outreach to win souls for Christ by engaging in weekly Bible Study, Sunday School and become a tithe paying member.
Therefore, we give reverence to God and promote a spiritual environment for worshippers to receive the word of God.
